OSBI Arrests Blanchard Man on Child Porn Charges

BLANCHARD, Okla. – Agents from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI), assisted by the Grady County Sheriffs Office and the Chickasha Police Department, arrested 21-year-old Chance Arlan Mason yesterday on multiple child pornography charges.
The case originated in January 2021 when the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) forwarded a cyber tip to the OSBI that they had received from an electronic service provider. The OSBI Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit opened an investigation upon receiving the tip. Based on that investigation, a search warrant was served at Mason’s residence yesterday. As a result, he was arrested without incident and booked into the Grady County Jail.
Mason is charged with Aggravated Possession of Child Pornography and Violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act.
