4 killed, including 2 children, in northeast Oklahoma crash

QUAPAW, Okla. (AP) — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says that four people, including two children, were killed in a two-vehicle collision in northeastern Oklahoma.

An OHP report says Charlsee Eberly of Miami; Kaitlyn Kibel of Quapaw; as well as a 7-year-old girl and 10-year-old boy whose names were not released died as a result of injuries suffered in the Friday night crash near Quapaw.

Three children aged 3, 7, and 8 are hospitalized due to injuries suffered in the crash.

The report says the cause of the collision is still under investigation on Saturday, but that it was raining and the roadway was wet at the time of the crash.
