OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Oklahoma City police say two children are dead after separate, unrelated shootings.

In the first shooting on Thursday, police say 5-year-old Trevion Cole was killed after he and a playmate found a gun inside a home on the city’s northeast side. Police say the other child accidentally shot Trevion, who was taken to a nearby hospital and pronounced dead.

In a separate shooting, late Thursday, police discovered the body of 14-year-old Sara Collins after responding to a report of shots fired on the city’s south side. Police say there was an altercation in the area and that they believe the teen was not the intended victim.
