PCPD welcomes new officer

Darold Ross is Ponca City’s newest Police Officer. He was sworn to duties by Municipal Judge Bill Kirkpatrick earlier this week.

Ross comes to the Ponca City Police Department as a certified Officer. He began his career as a University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center Campus Police Officer in 2008 and then joined the Blackwell Police Department in 2010. Ross served in the United States Air Force ROTC Program from 2002 to 2006 when he received an honorable discharge. He attended the University of Oklahoma and Howard University.
