Chance of Thunderstorms locally for tonight, 3-10-2021

Mike Seals - March 10, 2021 10:52 am

From Paula K. Cain, Director of Emergency Management for the City of Ponca City:

Very windy today even after dark.

This will bring moisture & possibility of storms later today.

Marginal Risk for thunderstorms after 9pm.

Risk of quarter size hail & winds up to 60mph.

Sounds like a fun.

And there are similar risks for the next 4 days.

Right now Saturday looks like the winner of “Worst Weather This Week” award, but storms will again be late in the day.

There is also a high risk for wildfires.

Urge caution when working outdoors.
