PCPS Employees Receive Vaccines Thanks to Community Partners

Mike Seals - March 1, 2021 10:31 pm

“Thanks to our wonderful community partners, Kay County Health Department, Phillips 66, and White Eagle Health Center, 98% of all PCPS employees (who wanted the COVID-19 Vaccine) have successfully been vaccinated with the first dose,” reported Ponca City Public Schools Superintendent Shelley Arrott. Currently, PCPS has 116 employees fully vaccinated!  With the support of these community partners, over 200 PCPS employees will be fully vaccinated by the end of the day on March 5, 2021.

Arrott continued, “I am humbled by the generosity and kindness of our Ponca City Community Partners. I will forever be grateful to Kay County Health Department, Phillips 66, and White Eagle Health Center for their dedication to making sure our employees are vaccinated. I can rest easier each evening knowing our education heroes are protected while we work to implement mitigation strategies to keep our students in school for in-person learning. Community partners working together exemplifies teamwork during challenging times.”
