February 21, 1932 ~ February 8, 2021 (age 88)

Jo Ann Rowe longtime Burbank resident passed away Monday evening, February 8, 2021 in Ponca City, OK. She was 88 years of age. JoAnn was born on February 21, 1932 in Kildare, OK to Cecil and Maude Louthan Rankin.

Funeral services will be held 2p.m. Friday, February 12, 2021 in the Burbank First Baptist Church with Pastor Dennis Wildman officiating. Interment will follow in the Burbank Cemetery under the care of Grace Memorial Chapel of Ponca City, OK. The family has asked in leu of flowers donations be made in Jo Ann’s name to Burbank First Baptist Church P.O. Box 93, Burbank, OK 74633. Services will be recorded and uploaded to Grace Memorial Chapel website on Jo Ann’s page later.

Jo Ann grew up in Osage county and she graduated from Burbank High. She married the love of her life Ruben Carroll Rowe and he preceded her in death on December 18, 2010. She was employed by the Burbank School System as a secretary and she also was a substitute rural mail carrier for numerous years. Jo Ann enjoyed spending time with her family, sewing and working in her garden.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter Carol Baur and husband Dave of Ponca City, 2 sons; Joe Rowe and wife Peggy, and Mike Rowe both of Burbank, OK 2 sisters; Patty Butler of Newkirk, OK and Janie Beguin of Ponca City, OK, also surviving are five grandchildren; Michael Rowe and Rilee Sipes, Travis Rowe and wife Jami, Jeremy Rowe, Landry Baur and Brandon Baur. Seven great grandchildren; Abbey Rowe, Hali Rowe, Cooper Rowe, Ryleigh Rowe, Trevor Rowe, Kyli Rowe and Tucker Rowe, Three great great grandchildren; Aspen Lansdowne, Easton Rowe and Jasper Wilkins and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jo Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Husband of 60 years, one sister; Beth Bledsoe and one grandson, Joseph Rowe.
