Mike Seals - January 10, 2021 10:21 pm

A message from Lori Simpson, Tonkawa Public Schools Superintendent

Due to increasing numbers of COVID-19 isolations and quarantines among students and staff, Tonkawa Public Schools will transition to distance learning beginning Monday, January 11, 2021.

Chromebooks have been sent home with students last Friday in preparation for classes beginning Monday (11 Jan.).

Students will sign into google classroom to receive instruction from their teachers. Tonkawa Public Schools will continue distance learning for two consecutive weeks ending Friday, January 22.

Students will return to school on Monday, January 25th for in-person instruction.

We apologize for any inconvenience this has created. The goal of TPS is to secure the health and well-being of students and staff. We feel this action is necessary to meet our goal. Please continue to follow safety protocols.

Wear a mask, wash your hands, and keep your distance.

If you have questions concerning distance learning, don’t hesitate to call the Tonkawa Public Schools Central Office at 580-628-3597.

Thanks for your support of Tonkawa Public Schools. Stay safe and healthy.
