East Middle School

In an effort to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, the Ponca City Public School Board of Education suspended all junior high activities at their December 14 Board meeting. This decision included all 8th grade winter and spring sports practices and competitions. A detailed press release was sent out on December 15 explaining their decisions. As soon as the positivity rate decreases, the Board will reconsider resuming junior high activities.

East Middle School students will be assigned a study hall classroom to attend with their coach. The room assignments will be announced after lunch on 1/5/21. All of the students will remain at EMS until the end of the school day. Students who walk home or are picked up will be released at 3:05 p.m. and students that ride the bus will be released at 3:10 p.m.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue through this unprecedented school year.
