OKLAHOMA CITY – House Speaker Charles McCall, R-Atoka, today issued the following statement on the first doses of Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine arriving and being distributed in Oklahoma:

“Vaccines arriving to pair alongside continued proper personal precautions are the light at the end of the tunnel. More patience and responsibility are necessary in the months ahead, but today is the day the tide turns. All Oklahomans should offer our deepest appreciation to the many state, local, tribal, federal and private entities whose monumental efforts have positioned us to protect public health, keep our economy open and push through this pandemic.”
