Po-Hi Continues Tradition of Displaying Christmas Luminaries

The entire Ponca City Public School district is currently on Distance Learning and there are no activities scheduled through December 18 for students. In spite of these circumstances, district leaders felt it was important to keep the traditional Christmas Luminary display going this year for the community as a beacon of light and hope for so many who may need it. PCPS employees will plan and carryout this wonderful tradition.

The Po-Hi Student Council has been responsible for this loved event and has been decorating the front law of the high school for the Christmas season since 1967. The display will be smaller than years past, but in these emotionally challenging times, we know they will be powerful.

The district would like to invite the entire Ponca City community to drive by the south lawn of Po-Hi on Overbrook Avenue the evening of Wednesday, December 16 from 6:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. to enjoy the Luminaries. We all need a beacon of light and hope right now!
