Senate Democrats announce committee assignments

OKLAHOMA CITY – Senate Democratic Leader Kay Floyd, D-Oklahoma City, announced committee assignments today for members of the Senate Democratic Caucus for the 58th Legislature.

“Members of the Senate Democratic Caucus come to the Legislature with extensive experience in several different professions. They are eager to draw on this expertise for their committee work in the Oklahoma Senate,” Floyd said.  “Our newest member, Senator Jo Anna Dossett, will be joining the Senate Education Committee. Senator Dossett has over 15 years of experience as an educator in Oklahoma public schools. She will be a strong advocate in the Legislature for public education.”
