Po-Hi Student Council Needs Donors For Blood Drive December 2

Mike Seals - November 30, 2020 11:19 pm

On Wednesday, December 2, 2020, Po-Hi Student Council (minus the students) will hold a blood drive in the parking lot of the Concert Hall in the Bloodmobile from 10:00 a. m. until 5:00 p.m. Since we will not have our usual turnout of high school student donors, we are looking for help from district employees and friends and family to help us make our goal! All donors will receive a free long sleeve shirt! (Picture attached) All donations will also be tested for COVID-19 antibodies. They are strongly encouraging those who have had a COVID-19 previous diagnosis to consider donating convalescent plasma because donations are used in hospitals as a way to help struggling patients fight off the virus. Please make an appointment using the link below or call the Oklahoma Blood Institute in Enid at 580-233-9323.

When you arrive, you will check in and wait in your car to reduce time around others. The Bloodmobiles hold fewer than 10 people and are properly sanitized in between every donor. Masks will be required.

Please share with family and friends and help us meet our goal! Thank you!
