MIDWEST CITY, Okla. (AP) — Police in an Oklahoma City suburb say that a 16-year-old boy wanted for manslaughter in the fatal shooting of a 12-year-old boy more than three weeks ago has surrendered. Midwest City Police Chief Brandon Clabes said in a statement on Friday that the suspect surrendered to Oklahoma County authorities.

An affidavit in the case says witnesses told investigators they heard no arguing before the September 30th shooting outside a Midwest City apartment complex and that the shooting occurred as the teenager was putting a gun into his waistband when it discharged. No names have been released.
