OKLAHOMA CITY –  The Research Institute for Economic Development (RIED) recently awarded Sen. Roland Pederson, R-Burlington, a perfect scorecard for his pro-business voting record during the 2020 legislative session.

RIED Report scores were based on two House bills and eight Senate bills related to business, job creation, elevation of income or economic growth.

“If we want our economy to thrive, we must invest in our small businesses across the state to ensure their success,” Pederson said. “I’m proud to work with my colleagues in both the Senate and the House to find common-sense solutions that allow our businesses to grow.”

RIED is an organization that promotes economic growth through the evaluation of business, job and economic growth issues considered by the Oklahoma Legislature.
