Priscilla DawnWard of Ponca City, Oklahoma, passed away September 24, 2020, in Shawnee, OK. She was 80 years old. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home and Crematory.
Priscilla was born on August 18, 1940 to Francis and Gertrude Ward in the township of Lela in Pawnee, Oklahoma. She attended and graduated from Red Rock Public Schools. As a young woman, she was an avid basketball player, and loved to ride horses, play softball, and participate in league bowling. She was a member of the Otoe Missouri Tribe. Priscilla worked in Stillwater at Swan Rubber Hose for 17 years, and also worked at National Standard and Huffy Bicycle in Ponca City. Playing cards and dancing were some of her favorite pastimes, and later in her life, she enjoyed working puzzles and reading. Most of all, she loved visiting with her favorite cousin, Fred Ward.
Priscilla is survived by two daughters, Susan Louise Bailey and her companion, Dale Logan, of Stillwater, Dawn Renee Focke and companion, Rick Young, of Stroud; one son, Wade Lee Young of Shawnee, as well as 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Gertrude Ward, and by her siblings.
