OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) – The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is probing the deaths of two inmates at separate county jails.

A bureau spokesman says 53-year-old Ransom Moss was found dead Sunday at the Creek County jail. He says a female inmate died Saturday afternoon at the Oklahoma County jail.

Investigators say foul play isn’t suspected in either death. Autopsies will be performed to determine the causes of death.

Paramedics found the woman unresponsive at the jail. The spokesman says her name won’t be released until family members are notified. She was incarcerated for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

He says Moss was found dead in his cell by other inmates. Moss was booked into the jail in June on a warrant for two counts of sexual battery.
