Two Interim Studies Scheduled for Monday, September 14th

The Senate Health and Human Services Committee, chaired by Sen. Greg McCortney, R-Ada, will hold two interim studies on Monday, September 14.

At 9:00 a.m., an interim study requested by Sen. Kay Floyd, D-Oklahoma City, will examine hotlines administered by state agencies and advocacy groups that primarily serve youth in Oklahoma, and how those services have functioned during the COVID-19 pandemic.

At 10:30 a.m., an interim study requested by Sen. McCortney will look at Tribal Health and Medicaid Managed Care, how that could increase costs for the state, and how those costs could be mitigated.

The interim studies will be held in room 230 of the state Capitol.  Due to social distancing, seating inside the committee room will be limited.  However; the meetings will be livestreamed at https://oksenate.gov/live-proceedings.
