October 21, 1964 – August 15, 2020

Janet Kay Lewis, 55, of Ponca City, passed away August 15, 2020. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 21, 2020, at Second Baptist Church, With Pastor Josh Garza officiating. Viewing will take place from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, August 20, 2020, at Trout Funeral Home and Crematory, Ponca City. Janet was born on October 21, 1964, to Henry and Bonita (Thomas) Hamilton in Los Angeles, California. She was active in her church and was a Girl Scout leader for 7 years. She went to Redlands Community College and received her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Development. She was a Tops member for 30 years. Most of her time was spent working as a child nutritionist.

Her passions were collecting koalas, child care and child development and watching her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Larry; daughters, Amanda, and her children, Bria and Corbin, Nicole, and her children, Zac and Kayson, and her brother James.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Bonita Hamilton; brother Ricky, and her best friend Susan.
