Transformer moves slowly through Ponca City

A huge transformer is slowly making its way through Ponca City today. It’s currently at First and Grand downtown. Oklahoma Highway Patrol said it plans to stay on Grand until Fifth St. Then it will head north on Fifth and connect to 14th, were it will stay until it hits Highway 11. It will stay on Highway 11 all the way to its final destination at Oklahoma Municipal Power Authority.
The transformer is escorted by Ponca City Police and Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
