NOC offers Fall Wind Energy Classes

Northern Oklahoma College is introducing an “Introduction to Wind Energy” course in its Fall 2020 semester.  The course is being offered as part of NOC’s Process Technology Program (PTEC).

The purpose of this course is to introduce interested students to Oklahoma’s Wind Energy Sector in preparation for employment in the Wind Energy field. Recent years have seen an increase in the wind farms in the geographical area in which the three NOC campuses are located.

This course is seen as an addition to NOC’s current PTEC program and should provide students currently enrolled and other interested student education in preparation for a career in the wind energy sector.
