The Ponca City Library proudly hosts another year of the Read for Adventure program.

The Read for Adventure program “aims to promote literacy within families, increase their contact with the outdoors and provide an outlet for invaluable, nature-inspired discoveries.”

The Oklahoma City Zoo’s mission is to educate Oklahomans about wildlife and wild places. By partnering with the Metropolitan Library, the zoo staff hopes to inspire children to read about wildlife and then connect with those same animals and plants found at the zoo.

The Metropolitan Library System and Oklahoma City Zoo have released a new book called Juniper’s Butterfly Garden for this year’s program.

How to obtain a voucher: Any Oklahoma resident who has a library card in good standing at the Ponca City Library and checks out Juniper’s Butterfly Garden will receive one (1) voucher good for general admission for four (4) people to the Oklahoma City Zoo. Card users may only receive the zoo voucher once.
