Oklahoma COVID-19 Update for 7-8-2020

SITUATION UPDATE: COVID-19

As of this advisory, there are 17,893 confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 in Oklahoma, and increase of 673 from yesterday’s report.

Kay County is reporting a cumulative total of 115 total cases, up 2 from yesterday, with 8 deaths (1 more than yesterday) and 86 people who have recovered.

Osage County has 188 confirmed cases, 1 more than yesterday, with 8 deaths, and 163 confirmed cases, 3 more than yesterday.

There have been a total of 407 deaths in the state from the virus.

  • There are three additional deaths; none occurred in the past 24 hours.
    • One in Kay County, male in the 50 – 64 age group.
    • One in Oklahoma County, female in the 65 or older age group.
    • One in Tulsa County, male in the 65 or older age group.
