Rex A. Maloney
August 7th, 1956 – June 12th, 2020
Rex A. Maloney joined our Heavenly Father on June 12, 2020 at the age of 63. Rex was born in Enid, Oklahoma on August 7, 1956 to Bill and Genevia Maloney. He graduated Pond Creek High School in 1974. He was always very mechanical and enjoyed working with his hands. This ingenuity led him to finding his niche at Phillips 66 for the past 19 years.
Besides having a knack for winding motors, fixing machinery, and drawing well designed blueprints, Rex loved fishing, bowling and most sports. Even though he was an OU, Cardinal Baseball and Oklahoma City Thunder fanatic, his true passion was supporting his children and grandchildren in every activity in which they were involved. Whether it be coaching a sport or just listening to their musical instruments or watching their plays. No matter if you called him Rex P. Allen, Dad, Pops, or Rex; he will forever be remembered as a clever, kind hearted man.
He is preceded in death by his father William “Bill” Maloney, step-father Theron “Dee” Kitchen, and son Joshua Plunk.
Rex is survived by his loving wife Anna Maloney and his mother Genevia Kitchen; his six children and their families LaTisha and Nick Parker (Gage and Trenton) , Amanda and Matt Wohler (Maya, Aiden, and Jocelyn), Stedman and Micah (Karen, Rynli and Zoe), Preston Maloney, Robyn Maloney and Aaron Maloney. He is lovingly remembered by his Grand Children, his brother Dade Maloney, his sisters Arlene Unruh and Tammie Page as well as his in-laws Floyd and Teresa Kemmerer, brother-in-laws Mike and V-Anne Kemmerer and Phil & Shelly Kemmerer, and his several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
