Stillwater Muni Court announces temporary warrant amnesty program

STILLWATER, OKLAHOMA – The Stillwater Municipal Court announced a temporary warrant amnesty program today in response to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) shutdown.

As part of the program, Judge Tanya C. Raun will recall current warrants and suspend the warrant fees on tickets with an active warrant.

According to Court Administrator Melinda Gray, “If you qualify for the amnesty, you will be placed on a payment plan to pay out the remaining fine and costs. However, if you default and don’t make the required payments, the warrant charges will be reinstated and the warrant reissued.”

To take advantage of this temporary amnesty program, those with an active warrant should stop by the Municipal Court customer service window, 723 S. Lewis St, between June 8 and July 31 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
