4 killed in head-on collision in south Oklahoma

MEAD, Okla. (AP) – The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says four people were killed in a head-on collision in Bryan County.

The highway patrol says the wreck happened Sunday afternoon on U.S. 70 near Mead. According to a preliminary report, a truck driven by 47-year-old Richard Ardrey of Colbert crossed the center line and crashed into a pickup driven by 40-year-old Leonard Wiley Fly II of Yukon.

The highway patrol says Ardrey was killed in the crash, along with his passenger, 37-year-old Matthew Kraemer of Colbert. Authorities say Fly also died in the crash along with a 14-year-old boy, who was a passenger in his truck.

A 13-year-old boy in Fly’s truck was injured and taken to a hospital in Dallas, where he is in good condition.
