Po-Hi Announces Top 20 Students from Senior Class of 2020

The Ponca City Senior High School 2020 Graduating Class is proud to announce their Top 20 Valedictorians and Salutatorians. These are the students who have the highest (weighted), cumulative GPA’s of the senior class, freshmen through the first nine weeks of the second semester of their senior year. A separate article has been written about the top two Valedictorians Lindsay Hollis and Lanie Varner and their accomplishments.

Superintendent Shelley Arrott said, “These twenty students are the top of their Po-Hi Class of 2020. They are among the elite of their class of 330 seniors. Class of 2020, the final months of your senior experience were interrupted, but there are many more chapters to be written in your life. While it is not the ending you dreamed of for your senior year, it will be your senior year, and it is unique among all Seniors of 2020 throughout the nation.   Choose to stay positive, flexible, and patient, and stay prepared for the next chapter of life, for you each have such a bright future. I am so proud of your dedication and resolve, and I admire your ability to face adversity and move forward. You are ready for whatever comes your way. Wildcats, we miss you and we love you. We cannot wait to see you and honor your legacy on June 26 and 27. It’s the Wildcat Way!”

Po-Hi graduation has been rescheduled to June 26 and 27. Baccalaureate will take place virtually at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 14 on the District Facebook page.
