Noble County Accident Injures Two

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, an injury collision occurred Tuesday just before 5 p.m. near the intersection of US Highway 64 and 140th street two miles east of Perry in Noble County.

The first vehicle was being driven by Tessa Thompson, age 23, of Perry. The patrolman’s report indicates she was transported by Perry Fire and EMS to Stillwater Medical Center in Perry, and admitted to the center in stable condition with arm, leg, and trunk external injuries.

The second vehicle was driven by 77-year-old Ernest Gorath, also of Perry. He was taken by Medflight to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City where he was admitted in stable condition with head, arm, leg, and trunk external and internal injuries.

The report indicates that both vehicles were west bound on US 64 when Thompson’s vehicle hit Gorath’s vehicle from behind when he was slowing down to turn southbound near the intersection.

No other information is available regarding this accident.
