Superintendent Issues New Continuous Learning and Virus Update

Ponca City Public School District Superintendent, Shelly Arrott, has issued a new update concerning the COVID-19 virus and Continuous Learning. The Update is below, or, you can go to the district’s website at www.pcps.us and click on COVID-19 Updates.

Washington PreK and all elementary school Continuous Learning Activities pick-up for the week of May 4 are Monday, May 4 from 4:00-6:00 PM. However, if you prefer to download and print the activities, they will be online by 5:00 PM on Sunday, May 3. If you have them available, bring packets from the weeks of April 20 and April 27 during the collection time for new activities. Be sure to put a date of completion of each activity in the box. There will be a bin you may use to submit the previous activities.

There will be bins at ALL sites the entire week of May 11 for final submission of activities.

Continuous Learning for ALL sites ends on May 8, 2020.

Grades and Progress Reports will be available for parents to view on the PCPS Parent Portal on Friday, May 15.

Each site will post a calendar of events on their homepage at www.pcps.us and on site Facebook pages on Sunday, May 3 at 5:00. Principals and Directors are in the process of contacting parents to schedule an appointment for curbside collection or delivery of gear, uniforms, school supplies, Chromebooks, or other items that students need to collect or deliver. Please refer to the site’s calendar for details.

Principals from every site in the district are in the office each Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM to answer questions.
