Ella Payne longtime Osage county resident passed away April 19, 2020 in Ponca City. She was 79 years of age. Ella was born February 15, 1941 in Shidler, Oklahoma to Lloyd W. Mains and Bernice Brown Mains.

Private graveside services were held Friday in Foraker, OK with Pastor Dennis Wildman officiating. Arrangements are in care of Grace Memorial Chapel. Visitation is available Thursday, April 23, 2020 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Ella grew up in Shidler and she graduated from Shidler high in 1959. Ella married the love of her life Frank Payne on July 2, 1960 and they made their home in Foraker. She enjoyed spending time with family, crocheting, planting flowers and researching Genealogy.

Those left behind to cherish her memory is her husband Frank of 59 years, 2 sons; Gary Payne of Shidler, OK and Terry Payne of Stringtown, OK, 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Ella was preceded in death by her parents, 1 son; Brian Payne, 1 brother; Lloyd Mains and 1 sister Nora Kay Swopes.
