OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — A member of Gov. Kevin Stitt’s cabinet is among the 84 new coronavirus cases announced in Oklahoma, bringing the state’s tally of infections to at least 248.

Stitt’s spokeswoman Baylee Lakey said Thursday that Secretary of Digital Transformation and Administration David Ostrowe tested positive and is quarantined at home. Lakey says Ostrowe hasn’t had contact with Stitt in more than two weeks and that Stitt has not been tested.

Lakey says staff who may have had contact with Ostrowe have been asked to quarantine themselves at home for 14 days. The vast majority of people who contract the virus recover.
