Ponca City Now - March 20, 2020 4:34 pm

Director Laura Corff  with Cimarron Public Transit System said Friday the system has no plans to shut down.

Transit is available for essential transportation needs, such as health care, accessing meals and grocery shopping.

“We are following CDC and health department recommendations in keeping vehicles clean and safe,” she said. “Drivers have some personal protective equipment if needed and are limiting the number of passengers per vehicle.

“Extra attention is taken to disinfect vehicles throughout the day and staff are encouraged to wash hands often. Those who are ill are asked to remain home.”
