Two Congress members from Oklahoma self-quarantine for 14 days

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Two members of Congress from Oklahoma say they will self-quarantine for two weeks after two other U.S. representatives tested positive for the coronavirus.

Reps. Kendra Horn and Tom Cole said Thursday they’re experiencing no symptoms of illness but will self-quarantine because of contact with the pair who tested positive.

Horn said she had contact with Utah Congressman Ben McAdams. Cole said he “was around” Florida Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart. Both later tested positive for the illness.

For most people, the virus causes only mild or moderate symptoms. But some people, especially older adults and those with existing health problems, can suffer more severe illness.
