Concerts at 101 Wild West Rodeo

Ponca City Now - June 10, 2014 7:44 am

After the horses have been ridden and the bulls have bucked, the lights will go down over the rodeo arena and come on over the concert stage. 101 Wild West Rodeo President, Larry Goodno said there will be a different concert each night.

“We got three bands, good bands," Goodno said. " Thursday night is Whiskey River, Friday night is Jason Boyd and Saturday night is Thomas Martinez.”

The concerts are included in your ticket. Tickets are $10 a night if bought in advance, $12 a night at the gate or $20 for all three nights.

Rodeo events will start at 8 p.m. and Goodno said the concert will close out the festivities for the day.

" The concerts don’t start until 10, that’s when the rodeo is over," Goodno said.

The rodeo is at 101 Wild West Rodeo Arena at Ash and Prospect.

And as a reminder the rodeo has been moved from its normal time in August to this week. If you want more information on why the Rodeo has been moved click here .
