Recently Ladycat and Wildcat Basketball swept Enid Plainsmen on Senior night at the Robson. Collin Crandall sealed it by hitting foul shots in the final minute of the Wildcat Varsity game.

Tomorrow both the Varsity Ladycats and Wildcats are playing Shawnee Wolves at Gallagher-Iba Arena on the OSU campus in Stillwater. Action starts at 6:30 when the Ladycats take court.

Coach Jody Fincher is happy with how the Ladycats are doing, “I really like how the team has been playing. We are getting lots of contributions up and down the lineup and we are playing hard.

The girls seem to be locked in and ready for a playoff run.

We are excited about the opportunity to play in such a historic Arena like Gallagher-Iba Arena.”

Coach Ivan McFarlin, who played his college basketball at OSU, stated, “What a great moment in my life to be able to coach in a place where I got started as a player and now these young women and men are going to experience this moment. I am thankful to be coaching these players and they have worked hard this week and they are excited for the opportuntity!!

We want the whole town of Ponca City to be there because we are making big strides for the program!! See you in Stillwater!!”

Next week both teams face Jenks in the first round of regional playoffs.
