Po-Hi Hall of Fame committee seeking nominations

Ponca City Now - January 31, 2020 2:36 pm

The Ponca City High School Alumni Hall of Fame committee is seeking nominations for this year’s induction, scheduled for September.

The Hall of Fame was established to bring honor to a Ponca City High School alumni, living or deceased, who has achieved outstanding accomplishments in their life or career.  In honoring these individuals, part of the plan is to exhibit their pictures in a prominent place at Po-Hi, to be an inspiration to students as they pass through the halls now and in the future.

The induction will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24,  at the Carolyn Renfro Event Center.

Nomination may be made online through the Po-Hi Hall of Fame Facebook page. Nominations may also be submitted by using the link below, or a form may be found on the district website at www.pcps.us within the Ponca City High School Hall of Fame link.

The deadline for nominations for the 2020 Induction Ceremony is May 1.

All Po-Hi alumni are invited to participate in this important nomination process. If there is a person who has achieved outstanding accomplishments and is a graduate of Ponca City High School, please nominate them and send your nomination form to: Ponca City Public Schools: Attention Shelley Arrott, 613 E. Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK 74601.
