The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported that a personal injury collision occurred at about 11:23 a.m. Saturday on Yearling Road, about 432 feet west of County Road 160, which is about half a mile west and 3 miles north of Red Rock, OK in Noble County.

The patrol said the accident involved a 2019 Dodge Ram 3500 driven by Barry Eugene Stafford, 62, of Blackwell, OK. Staford was transported by private vehicle to Blackwell Regional Hospital in stable condition where he was treated and released with a leg injury.

The second vehicle involved was a 2017 Ford F150 driven by Samantha D. Ingmire, 34, of Red Rock, OK. Ingmire was transported by Mediflight to OU Medical Center in critical condition with head, leg, and trunk internal injuries.

There were two juvenile passengers in Ingmire’s vehicle, ages 8 and 4, whose names have been withheld because of their ages, both of Red Rock, OK. The 8-year-old was transported by ambulance then transferred to Mediflight and taken to OU Children’s Medical Center in critical condition with head, leg, and trunk internal injuries. The 4-year-old was transported by private vehicle to OU Children’s Medical Center in stable condition with a trunk internal injury.

The Highway Patrol’s report stated that Stafford’s vehicle was westbound on Yearling. Ingmire’s vehicle was eastbound on Yearling. The remaining information about the collision is still under investigation at this time. Ingmire was reportedly pinned for an unknown period of time. Seatbelts were equipped in both vehicles, but only in use by the juvenile passengers in Ingmire’s vehicle. The condition of both drivers was apparently normal. The report states that the cause of the collision is pending investigation.

Investigated by Trooper Adam Beck #700 of the Noble/Kay County detachment. Assisted by Trooper Coby Snyder #271 of the Kay/Noble County detachment, Red Rock Fire Department, Perry Fire Department, Tonkawa Fire Department, Noble County Sheriff’s Office, and Mediflight.
