University Center Director Tim Williams spent Tuesday at the State Capitol for Higher Education/Oklahoma’s Promise Day at the Capitol. Representatives from colleges and universities across Oklahoma gathered to advocate for higher education and celebrate the impact higher education has on our state.
Williams met with Senator Bill Coleman, Representative Ken Luttrell, Representative Toni Hasenbeck, Senator Adam Pugh, and Senator Ally Seifried.
He was able to advocate for the UC and share some of the exciting things that are going on. He also had lunch with the group from NWOSU and visited with friends from NOC.
Next year Williams says he will not go alone; several students will join him.
