Tulsa child in critical condition after shots fired into SUV

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Police in Tulsa say that a 1-year-old child is in critical condition after being struck by gunfire.

Police say the 1-year-old was sitting in a car seat on Thursday when somebody fired shots into the SUV. The child was struck and is in critical condition. Police say that they’re still trying to figure out what happened.

A 27-year-old man identified as a person of interest was taken into custody Friday.
