CHICKASHA, Okla. (AP) – An Oklahoma attorney general investigator says nearly $402,000 of the more than $727,000 overpaid to 13 Grady County elected officials has been repaid and repayment agreements are to cover the remaining funds.

Angela Marsee told The Oklahoman that no criminal charges are expected.

The overpayments to officials that included county commissioners and two sheriffs was revealed in an August 2018 audit.
