Ponca City Now - December 6, 2019 2:38 pm

Life Line Screening is holding a community health event at the Albright United Methodist Church, 128 South Palm Street,  from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 11.

Life Line provides preventive health screenings to the 40+ community to check for risk factors of cardiovascular disease and stroke.

Screenings are fast and painless. Get checked for blocked arteries, a leading risk factor of stroke, as well as abdominal aortic aneurysm, blockages in the arteries of the lower legs (Peripheral Arterial Disease) and atrial fibrillation (Afib).

A bone density screening to assess osteoporosis risk is also offered and is appropriate for both men and women. Many events also offer blood tests, including cholesterol, glucose and c-reactive protein screenings, as well as take-home colon cancer early detection tests.

Screening packages start at $139 (a $10 off package discount is available when you register via the below). Single tests cost around $70.

Pre-registration is required. For more information regarding the screenings or to schedule an appointment:
