PONCA CITY, Okla. – Community members are invited to sign up to attend the Dementia Dialogues training classes beginning in March at the Renfro Center.
Dementia Dialogues is an evidence-informed, nationally registered, intervention training program designed to educate community members and caregivers on the signs and symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (ADRD).
The training will be presented in Ponca City in a five-part educational series in partnership with the Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH), AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP, United Way of North Central Oklahoma, Clark Gerontology Fund, Hospice of North Central Oklahoma and the Kay County Community Health Foundation.
Class dates and times include:
• March 27, 2025, from 1 – 3 p.m.
• April 24, 2025, from 1 – 3 p.m.
• May 22, 2025, from 1 – 3 p.m.
• June 26, 2025, from 1 – 3 p.m.
• July 24, 2025, from 1 – 3 p.m.
Participants aren’t required to attend every session, but it is highly recommended. Participants who attend all classes will receive a certificate of completion.
