Road closed to traffic May 12

The City of Ponca City has entered into a construction contract with Urban Contractors Inc. to replace a sewer interceptor from the intersection of Osage Street and South Avenue through the P66 Ponca City Refinery Complex to Fourth Street.

Due to the need to bypass sewage while the contractor is working on the north end of the interceptor, the section of South Avenue, between Elm and Palm Street, will be closed to all traffic from 8:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Monday, May 12.

Signing and barricades will be in place to detour and direct traffic around the construction site.
