Candidates for Blackwell mayor to file declarations Dec. 2-4

NEWKIRK — Candidates for municipal office in Blackwell file Declarations of Candidacy beginning at 8 a.m. Monday, Dec. 2, 2019.
Cheryl Howard, Secretary of the Kay County Election Board, said filing period ends at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4.
Declarations of Candidacy will be accepted at the County Election Board office for the following Board of Commissioners office in Blackwell.
Mayor 3 year term
A general election for the City of Blackwell, Oklahoma, will be held on April 7, 2020, for the position of Mayor and a primary election if necessary, will be held on Feb. 11, 2020.
