TONKAWA — Northern Oklahoma College’s “Woodworking Class,” a community enrichment course, begins Nov. 7 on the NOC campus.

Instructor Rick Allan said classes will begin Thursday, Nov. 7 and continue on Tuesdays and Thursdays through Dec. 12.  Participants will meet in the woodshop located in the Creative Arts Building on the Tonkawa campus from 6 to 8 p.m.

The class offers community members and NOC students a great opportunity to build that special project they always wanted but didn’t have the space or equipment needed to get it done.

The cost is $55, not including materials. Class members may either bring their own materials or purchase them in the class.

NOC’s large shop and large array of woodworking equipment and tools will be available to those who attend this class.

NOC community enrichment classes are non-credit courses and have no grades, tests or attendance requirements. Students enroll Thursday, Nov. 7 at the first class.
