Oklahoma Proficiency testing dates approaching

The Ponca City Public School district is administering the Oklahoma Proficiency Test in two weeks.

According to the Ponca City School Board, parents must notify the district by next Friday, May 2 to ensure their child will be tested.

This test is given to students who have been home-schooled or been attending a non-accredited school, and are seeking to enter the Ponca City Public Schools.

The test will be administered at the Ponca City Administration Building, 111 W. Grand.

Students who have been home-schooled or have been attending a non-accredited school entering 10th through 12th grades need to contact the Ponca City High School to schedule testing.
