NCOAC Chair-ity event Sept. 26

TONKAWA — Tickets are on sale for The North Central Oklahoma Arts Council’s 6th Anniversary Chair-ity Event to be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26 at the Tonkawa Casino Pool.

The special guest is musical ambassador Kyle Dillingham of Oklahoma City. It will be his third time to appear at the Chair-ity Event.

Tickets are $40 and are available at Frames and Things and First National Bank in Tonkawa and Ponca City.

The annual event raises funds for arts grants in North Central Oklahoma within 30 miles of Tonkawa and Northern Oklahoma College students.

A Silent Auction will be held at the event as well as Themed Baskets for sale.

Auction items include the following:

  • A Night on the Town in Enid — Overnight stay, two Gaslight Theatre tickets, $40 Costello’s Continental Cuisine Gift Certificate.
  • An OSU package includes two football tickets to the OSU-TCU game on Nov. 2.
  • Branson, MO package over Fall Break.  Three nights Oct. 17-19 at Wyndham Mountain Vista (3 bedroom suite) Bourbon / $50 Visa Card.
  • NYE / NYC package includes Southwest Airline Airfare, 4 nights Dec. 30 – Jan. 3 Wyndham Mid Town 4, 1 bedroom suite with living room & kitchen, (in Manhattan, about 2 blocks from Times Square), I heart NY wine glasses & cinch bag, wine, laminated site map, art museum passes to MOMA, the Met, & Guggenheim, $50 visa card.

  • Over 30 small varied size square paintings, photographs, or other art of chair images.
  • An actual chair painted to represent Matisse’s painting Harmony in Red, anonymous artist.
