Man dies after altercation, shooting in northeast Oklahoma

TULSA, Okla. (AP) – Police in Tulsa say that a man has died after he was shot during an altercation with his estranged wife’s boyfriend.
Authorities say that 43-year-old Luis Simich was shot once in the upper torso Friday night and later died.
Investigators say that the shooting followed a disturbance involving Simich, his estranged wife, and her boyfriend. Police say that Simich went to his estranged wife’s home and rammed into the other man’s car before aggressively approaching him.
Authorities say the man then allegedly shot Simich. He remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. He was questioned and released pending further investigation. He has not been identified.
No charges have been filed in the shooting.
