Two in custody in connection with Craig County murder

CRAIG COUNTY — The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has arrested two men in connection with the murder of 28-year-old Christopher Boren, who was found last week in a ditch in Craig County just north of the Mayes County line.

Dale Eugene Warren, 63, and Johnny Lee Arnold, 31, were arrested on Sunday, Aug. 25, in Mayes County. Both were taken into custody without incident and are currently in the Mayes County Jail before being transferred to Craig County.

Warren and Arnold both face first degree murder charges.

The Oklahoma Office of Chief Medical Examiner is determining Boren’s cause of death.

The Mayes County Sheriff’s Office and Langley Police Department assisted with arresting both men. The Delaware County, Mayes County and Craig County Sheriff’s Offices also assisted with the investigation.
