TULSA, Oklahoma – Taylee Slavin, a senior at Ponca City High School, demonstrated her exceptional musical talent by performing in the 2025 Oklahoma Music Educators Association (OkMEA) All-State Treble Chorus on Saturday, January 18, 2025.
Slavin was selected through a competitive statewide audition, representing the top 1% of high school vocalists in Oklahoma. The All-State Treble Chorus provides talented young musicians an opportunity to perform under renowned conductors and collaborate with exceptional singers from across the state. The Treble Chorus was directed by Dr. Kristina MacMullen. Dr. MacMullen is the Director of Choral Activities at Baylor University.
“Participating in the All-State Chorus has been an incredible musical journey,” said Slavin. “The experience has challenged me to grow as a vocalist and performer.”
The performance celebrates the highest level of musical achievement among Oklahoma’s high school students, showcasing their dedication, skill, and passion for choral music.
